About Ron Gray and Finest Sounds Entertainment
Ron began playing guitar and singing at the age of 12. His first live gig, at the age of 13, was at a High School Sadie Hawkins Dance, where he strummed the opening chords of “Brown Sugar” on his Epiphone EA-250 to open the show. Through the years, Ron played guitar, synthesizer, and sang in part and full-time bands, including Orpheus, Brat, Exciter, Shock, Little Elvis, Revolver, Station to Station, among others, while earning his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with highest honors.
In 1999, Ron founded Finest Sounds Entertainment to utilize his talents to serve discerning clients looking for an exceptional music and emcee experience. With over 700 weddings and thousands of DJ and karaoke gigs under his belt, Ron continues to this day striving to please and exceed his customer’s desires. Currently, Ron provides DJ, karaoke, open mic, and emcee services four nights a week in fine establishments throughout the Northern Virginia area, as well as keeping his focus on his specialty wedding business throughout the year.
Ron is active in his community, for several years having served as a volunteer catechist at his church, and as a baseball/life mentor coach for youths for Dale City Little League. He is the proud father two children, his son Dane, and his daughter Natalie. Ron’s hobbies include guitar, singing, biking and playing and watching baseball, (avid Washington Nationals fan!). He currently resides in Woodbridge, VAFinest Sounds Entertainment Mission Statement:
